A letter from happy and besotted puppy owners..this is what it is all about, the joy our beautiful dogs bring to others.

Hi Tony & Dianne,   

Heidi went to Benalla Veterinary Clinic today for her second vaccination (C3). She commenced a new all in one treatment called Advocate.  The blurb says Advocate is combination of 2 medications, imidacloprid and moxidectin.  It is topical application, applied once a month which prevents heartworm, treats for fleas, ear mites, fox mange (don’t understand why a dog is treated for a fox problem, nether the less) and intestinal worms except for tapeworm.

Heidi weighed 9.2kgs on the vets scales this morning. Sally, the vet, was most impressed with Heidi’s condition.  Sally stated there was a 16wks GSD, out back, weighing 9-10kgs.      Heidi rated well in her Wellness HeathMap and her Body Condition Evaluation score was 3. (ideal).

All this terminology to tell me my Heidi is well.  You only have to look at her to see that.  Heidi is quickly turning into a small horse. She bounds about the house enjoying herself.  Heidi has good appetite for her age.  We have purchased a car travel harness for Heidi to travel in the wagon of Pajero.  She whimpers for a while then quietens down.  She is slowly getting used to car travel and the safety harness.

Tomorrow Mum and Dad visit with their two dogs.  About 2 years old.  Hope they get along.  If so this will give us a place to leave Heidi when we have appointments in Melbourne .

Kettle has boiled time for a cuppa,  Remember you are always welcome to visit.  Heidi liked your hug.  She sends you a sloppy kiss. House training is progressing exceptionally well.
